We Can Work It Out

So Stevie Wonder is not the point of this post, but do I love his version of The Beatles' "We Can Work It Out." His song did give me inspiration for the title of this post because I've been humming it ever since I decided to post about this new line of workout clothes by Outdoor Voices.
I can't take the credit for finding this brand because oldest sis Claire is Miss New York and is always ahead of the curve. She sent Kathleen and I a link to their site and "subtly" hinted they might make good birthday or Christmas gifts for her (noted). The three of us usually like similar things, so I too, quickly fell in love with their stuff.

Everything looks above and beyond comfy. I love all of the light grays and heather fabrics. I'll go ahead and use my outdoor voice to tell you how much I love this stuff.

"we can work it out, we can work it oooouuuuttt!"

Fatigued

I'm having a major camo moment right now. I love how the pattern gives off the sense of blending in while still standing out. It all started when I tried on a pair of Sanctuary pants at my new favorite store in D.C, Wink. Then I went to work the next day and my ultra fabulous boss said camo was cool, so now I think it's basically the best thing ever.
Now that it's on my radar I have been seeing it everywhere. Lululemon even just came out with a small line of camo. I had my heart set on this pair of shorts, but I think they sold out over night.
1. J.Crew jacket  2. Lululemon bra  3. Lululemon racerback  4. Rag & Bone top  5. Forever 21 slip-ons  6. Warby Parker glasses  7. Superga sneakers  8. Lululemon wunder unders  9. Sanctuary cargo pants  10. Loft pants 11. Asos mini skirt
Camo as we know, was a pattern made to blend in, so it goes with just about anything. I'm dying for those Sanctuary pants, mini skirt and the slip-on sneaks!

p.s. If you still didn't know, I'm blogging at my job this summer, so you can read YoDeb! in between my gapping posts!

Oh My Darling, Clementine

I have a new favorite website and I have to share it with you. I discovered Clementine Daily after reading Emily's Links I Love post yesterday. She had a link for 5 Skills Everyone Needs To Know. The link took me to Clementine's site and I immediately started browsing around.

Clementine Daily is a women's lifestyle site similar to The Everygirl or The Glitter Guide. What I love about Clementine is how simple and true it is. They have created a space for authentic women to come and get inspired from different leading ladies, fresh recipes, amazing photography and helpful life tips.

Their manifesto is idilic and I think they were sitting inside my brain when they wrote it. "She loves style,  not fashion. Her best ideas come to her in the shower. She pet-sits for neighbors. Mascara makes her sneeze. She believes that table crumbs are dinner’s confetti. She’s still on the hunt for her signature scent."
Clementine provides different articles to motivate women in the topics of entertaining, style, decor, cooking and gives great advice for everyday life.
They post amazing and delicious recipes like this spring green risotto. I also have my eye on these french lentil quinoa cakes, pistachio pesto pasta and their idea for a simple breakfast. These delicious fixes are all courtesy of their amazing food editor Julia

One of my favorite things about Clementine is how simple, but beautiful their pictures are. The site is streamlined and leaves space for the content to shine through.

I love their articles like to selfie or not to selfie, how to have better posture or 5 ways to be kind to yourself.

They have a great group of editors and several notable contributors. Here is an interview with everyone's blogger role model and Clementine contributor Joy Cho of Oh joy!

So take a few minutes and peruse around Clementine Daily. I now have it bookmarked as one of my daily reads and I know you will too after seeing what Clementine has to offer!

Frame Me

I have a Pinterest board called "Frame Me" dedicated to pictures of art prints and paintings I wish I could frame and instantly hang on my wall! I have a gallery wall in my room at home, but as I'm starting to think how I want to decorate my room for next year, I know I want a lot of art and paintings hung to give off inspiration. I plan to keep my room pretty white and basic, so I want to create a focal point full of color. I recently discovered Evelyn Henson and I can't help but adore her work.
Her work consists of floral paintings, map prints, lucite trays and other darling art prints. She is a young artist who turned her hobby into a career. I've always admired young business women and I'm constantly inspired by girls like Evelyn.
Meet Evelyn. She first started painting after attempting a picture of a floral bouquet for a Mother's Day gift. She enjoyed it so much she pursued other paintings, studied art history in college and then started selling her work in May of 2013. Since then, she has been featured in Matchbook Magazine, Girls of Lincoln Park, The Abroad Guide and Southern Views Magazine. You can purchase her work from her website or on Etsy
My favorite pieces Evelyn does, and what originally made me discover her, are her map prints. She has various cities that she customizes to include notable landmarks of each place. I've been stalking DC bloggers as I anxiously await this summer and came across someone who instagrammed a gallery wall with the DC map print. *hint hint birthday present idea mom!* Above are some of my favorite cities that Evelyn has illustrated.

Make sure and check out Evelyn's site to see more of her work. Also take a peek at her blog. She posts fun DIYs, tips on styling her paintings, and free printables like these adorable Mother's Day cards.

Join The Pack

There's nothing I love more than getting a letter or package in the mail. I've signed up for Birchbox and Stitch Fix in the past for the pure reason of knowing I'll get a monthly package in the mail. Packed Party has the similar idea of getting a boxed gift in the mail, but it is built on the idea that's "Better to give than to receive!"
Packed Party is all about celebrating the little things. You don't have to have a bunch of people to have a packed party, a party can be celebrated by just you! Treating a friend with a personal party may be just the thing she needs to brighten her day.
Packed Party is an individual box with themed contents and a note explaining why it was sent. Carefully picked goodies are included in each pack, but the catch is that you don't know what the contents are until it is received. Surprises are more fun anyway!
So far Packed Party has a break-up pack, pity pack, birthday pack, miss you pack and a pampered pack. Wedding packed parties are soon to join the list! Check out their site and see all the ways you can send a friend a little party!
When a good friend became a part of the party, I loved finding out more about this little package. Packed Parties can be sent for just $45 and are the perfect way celebrate the day! Join the pack and send a party!

I've always loved a good party.
